FEM*ERGY COLLECTIVE (mari.ama + Johanna Amelie + Ay Wing)

FEM*ERGY COLLECTIVE is where musical diversity and queer-feminist spirit join forces. A supergroup of sorts, the Berlin-based ensemble brings together the musical worlds of indie acts Ay Wing, mari.ama, Johanna Amelie, Mya Audrey and Leonie Geisler. The artists, who each express themselves in their own musical language, share their messages and visions by working together on songs, shows, concert tours and other projects. The first of their collaborative songs, which they are releasing this year, range from indie pop to Afrobeats to R&B. Like a mini-festival with fluid transitions, FEM*ERGY COLLECTIVE’s live sets feature the solo projects of the individual musicians interspersed amid the work of the collective. An audiovisual stage performance as a utopian microcosm of individuality and community in harmony.
