»Football Under Cover – Fußball, Aktivismus und die aktuellen Geschehnisse im Iran« (De)

The 2008 documentary »Football Under Cover« about the Iranian national team’s first public match, played against a women’s team from Berlin Kreuzberg, could hardly be more topical today in view of the Woman Life Freedom movement. In this talk hosted by Aida Baghernejad, the film’s co-producer Marlene Assmann-Khoueiry, Iranian author and activist Sanaz Azimipour, and DFC Kreuzberg coach Nada Arbaji, who emigrated from Lebanon, will discuss the current situation in Iran, revolution and rebellion, and what has changed in the 15 years since the film was made.
