Wannabe skater Marike, drummer Marek and frontbitch Otto maintain an inspiring balance between the musical youth of the Regrettes and Disney theme songs. Especially in a live setting, Marike and Marek form the playful, bubbly basis for Otto to shout out inner monologues with brute force, describing a dysfunctional society to a raucous crowd, from the next bar down or from the front of a barricade, while the punchy, loud punk tunes turn into catchy melodies. Whimsical, poetic mob romance with pounding drums, booming bass and screaming to match.
