Young white woman with short blond hair styled upwards, dark eye make-up and red lips looks combatively out of the picture to the right. L Twills has her left hand clenched into a fist and holds her arm bent upwards, supporting her elbow with the other hand. She is wearing an unusual jacket with a black base and white wide set shoulders and white trumpet-shaped sleeve patches on the forearm. The background shimmers greenish with shadows that also fall on L Twills.

L Twills: »After her Destruction«

»After her Destruction« is the name of L Twills’ new album, which is not out until October but will already be presented at Pop-Kultur as a pre-release show featuring unseen videos. The protagonist of this multimedia science-fiction album, Girl, aims to find out whether her brain has mutated. In ten video chapters, Girl sets off on a journey through her own psyche with the help of the computer programme The Art of Mind. In her Commissioned Work for Pop-Kultur, L Twills brings the forthcoming album to life in a three-part spectacle in which music, video, light and performance intertwine to create an artistic dialogue, turning the entire space into a stage without a fixed focal point.
