»Lakonisch Elegant« meets Pop-Kultur: »Skandal und Moral in der Popkultur« (De)

Aida Baghernejad, Dieter Gorny, Samira El Ouassil, hosted by: Christine Watty

Let’s talk about the abysses of pop culture. There is often a great desire to transgress boundaries in this sphere, even to the point of justiciable moments. We are interested in the reactions to any unmasking, including the media’s: In the coverage of the accusations against Rammstein, for example, enlightening moments are always paired with a tendency towards tabloidism and the eternal fascination with the star – who, for some reason, supposedly can’t help himself. How long until we as a society amend or even uproot our definition of success? Where does our constant longing for the superhuman (pop) star, who is somehow allowed to do everything, come from? And what does all of this have to do with fan communities and a common yearning in society as a whole?
Culture podcast »Lakonisch Elegant« will talk about this with pop-culture journalist Aida Baghernejad; columnist, podcaster, author Samira El Ouassil; and media manager and Viva founder Dieter Gorny.
