Against a blue sky with a white cloud, a white man can be seen on the left and a white woman up to her waist on the right. The two members of the band Lola Marsh look into the camera. She stands slightly turned in, touching her left arm with her right hand, wearing a brown corduroy shirt, long brown hair tied in a braid, fingernails painted black. He has short brown hair, a neat short beard and is wearing a dark blue shirt.

Lola Marsh

Fans of the series »Better Call Saul« have definitely heard Lola Marsh before, when their Frank & Nancy Sinatra cover »Something Stupid« turned up. But everyone else should listen to the melancholic songs of this band from Tel Aviv, too, with multi-instrumentalist Gil Landa’s cute sound and Yael Shoshana Cohen’s warm, reverberant voice as their trademarks. Their new songs might be referred to as orchestral folk-pop with a slight touch of disco. At any rate, they always offer clever lyrics, warm harmonies and a summery signature sound, perfect for putting you in a good mood as you whistle along, as with the hit »Wishing Girl« – seemingly tailor-made for a late summer evening at Pop-Kultur.
