Pop-Kultur lokal 2023 #2: »Drag Syndrome Germany«

Drag Syndrome is an internationally renowned performance collective that promotes and showcases the talents of artists with Down syndrome, challenging stereotypes while celebrating performance art, drag and fashion.

In collaboration with Daniel Vais, choreographer and artistic director of Drag Syndrome, we are launching Drag Syndrome Germany. Like the original project, this is aimed at people with Down Syndrome who want to pursue a career as a drag artist. What has already worked very successfully in the UK is now to begin in German-speaking countries. The event will start with a workshop including professional make-up and in the evening the results will be presented at an audition. The performances and the after-show part of the evening will be musically accompanied by the DJs Triqi and abnama.

We are looking for new artists to join our German chapter and share their own creative vision with the audience!

As a member of Drag Syndrome Germany you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events and performances throughout the year. Our community is passionate and supportive, and we welcome artists of all backgrounds and experience levels.
