Prince Emrah

Prince Emrah (she/he) is a professional belly dancer, DJ, occasional drag queen, host of the Black & Brown Cabaret Show and the mother of an artist collective called »Queerberg/House of Royals«, which provides a space for BIPOC LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers and refugees. Of Kurdish and Azerbaijani descent from Turkmenistan, she arrived in Berlin as a refugee several years ago. As a DJ, she creates a frenzy on the dancefloor with her electrifying mix of pop, hip-hop, West Asian sounds and queer beats. Through her sets full of joie de vivre and good vibes, she expresses her unique identity while celebrating diversity, laying down tracks with lyrics in Turkish, Kurdish, Arabic, Latin and English. Her mission, which she will surely fulfil during her DJ set at Pop-Kultur: make people feel the music, dance along and smile.
