Pop-Kultur Lokal

Once again this year, the »Pop-Kultur Lokal« series, launched in 2018, is going into the next round after five previous editions that have helped represent some of Berlin’s most exciting communities, venues and networks in their representation again this year. We support your idea of an event that focuses on music – which can also be interdisciplinary or discursive.

From 40 applications, our four-member jury has selected four concepts that incorporate the inclusivity and diversity approach of Pop-Kultur itself. Each funded event will receive a grant of €2,000 each and will receive communicative support on our online platforms.

The following projects will be funded by Pop-Kultur in 2023:

18.05: Unrush / Sonic Botany, Backsteinboot
14.07: Drag Syndrom Germany, Gelegenheiten e.V.
01.08: Saturn Research Project, Zwitschermaschine – Kulturpark 3000 e.V
19./20.08: Night on Stage, Jugendkulturzentrum Königstadt
