This will be a special »Come Together« milestone! 21 downbeat are taking on the classic album »With the Beatles«, bringing it to the stage in an unabashedly modern yet respectful way. The house band of the RambaZamba Theater has been a regular at Pop-Kultur: after their »Rausch Royal« evening, they transformed Wagner’s opera cycle »Der Ring« (2019) into a 60-minute pop opera in cooperation with Jens Friebe, and last year, they delighted us with songs from the twenties in their Commissioned Work »Berlin«. This time, the band led by composer and musician Leo Solter with guest musician Ingo Schöder and the RambaZamba actors Eva Fuchs, Ferdinand Dambeck and Vincent Köhler will put their usual anarchistic spin on Beatles tunes – unapologetically unfaithful to the originals. Beyond conventional boundaries and ideas, 21 downbeat create a sound that follows the inclusive band’s core principles: exhilaration and ecstasy, or in other words, noise and confetti! So, come together!
